About Us

My Mega Garden is a shop created with love for plants. We offer only healthy, well-cared-for plants and help you make your home green and cozy.

Syngonium ‘Ice Frost’ is a rare tropical aroid that brings a cool, refreshing touch to any indoor collection. With its heart-shaped leaves shimmering in silvery-green tones, this variety looks as though it’s been dusted with frost. Each leaf feels thick and velvety to the touch, reflecting the plant’s robust nature and giving it a sculptural quality that stands out in any setting.

Botanically known as Syngonium macrophyllum ‘Ice Frost’, this arrowhead vine originates from the warm, humid forests of Mexico, Brazil, and Bolivia. Unlike many other Syngonium varieties, ‘Ice Frost’ has broader, heavier foliage and a slightly more upright growth habit when young, gradually developing climbing vines as it matures. Given the right support, it will gracefully climb or trail, adding lush texture to your interior decor.

Care and growing tips
This plant thrives in bright, indirect light but adapts well to medium light conditions. Direct sun can scorch its leaves, so east-facing windows are ideal. Keep the soil evenly moist during the growing season, allowing the top inch to dry before watering again. Reduce watering in winter when growth slows. A well-draining potting mix helps prevent root rot.

Feed your Syngonium ‘Ice Frost’ once a month in spring and summer with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer. Wipe the leaves occasionally with neem oil or a soft cloth to maintain their natural shine and protect against pests. The plant appreciates moderate humidity and can easily be propagated from stem cuttings in water or soil.

‘Ice Frost’ looks stunning in hanging baskets, climbing up a moss pole, or grouped with other foliage plants such as philodendrons and pothos for a lush tropical look. Its subtle silvery sheen pairs beautifully with darker green companions, creating a striking visual contrast.
